We have very stringent rules when selecting properties and are careful to ensure that the surrounding area is free of any building work or other potential nuisance. However, we have no control over building regulations and occasionally a building site appears next to one of our villas. When possible, we will offer an alternative should this happen.
Payments can be made by: debit/credit card (Maestro, Solo, Electron, Visa debit, Visa credit, Mastercard, JCB), bank transfer, or personal cheque. In the case of using a credit card we will add a surcharge of 2%. A 25% deposit charge must be made at the time of confirming your booking. The balance of your holiday invoice must be made 10 weeks prior to rental start date. If the booking is made within 10 weeks of rental start date then the full amount must accompany your Booking Form. If you do not pay on the date due then we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled and you could therefore be liable to pay cancellation charges of up to 100% of the holiday price (see Booking Terms & Conditions).
Unless otherwise stated, a breakage deposit will be included on your invoice and must be paid with your final balance. The breakage deposit will be refunded on your return, minus any damage costs. All breakages must be reported to our Local Representative / Owner immediately. All single sex and/or young parties will be charged an additional Security Deposit, which will be included on your confirmation invoice and is payable with your final balance. Villa owners require us to charge higher levels for single sex and/or young parties (see Booking Terms & Conditions).
Extra Services, like maid service, local cooks and chefs, babysitting, wine tours, etc. can be arranged at some locations. These services are payable in euro directly to the Villa Representative / Owner, and are charged at local rates, which vary between properties and/or areas. You can reserve any Extra Services on the Booking Form prior arrival at the villa.
A Maid service is included in most of our accommodations, excluding Sundays and public holidays. The maids will not be in the villas all day and their duties consist of general light cleaning. Additional maid services, such as washing or ironing, may be arranged locally.
In some of our accommodations we can arrange for an extra bed at an extra cost. Where a villa is rented with an extra bed (for example 7 persons in a 3-bedroom accommodation) be advised that it does not necessarily mean that the amenities of the accommodation will cater for the extra person.
In order that our properties are prepared for new arrivals, we ask clients to vacate their accommodation by the time stated within your Holiday Pack. It can take more than two hours to prepare your accommodation on changeover day and it is possible that the maid may be finishing her duties when you arrive.
The Holiday Pack is sent to you after receipt of your final payment, or 2 weeks before your rental start date. It contains a final detailed confirmation of your rental and the Extra Services requested, as well as directions to the property, its location and telephone number of the Villa Representative / Owner.
It is recommended that all clients should have adequate travel insurance for the duration of the holiday. If you decide not to take our recommended policy you should arrange your own cover to a similar or higher standard.
Please ensure that your children are not left unsupervised at any time and be especially careful with balconies, swimming pools and stairs. We can arrange for stair gates to be fitted at certain villas. If this is possible there will be a small hire charge. Please enquire when booking. Please note that parents are responsible for the actions of their children at all times.
All of our properties are maintained by staff who have access to our accommodation. We ask you for your co-operation when our staff visit, as it is imperative to keep the accommodation well maintained for you and our future client enjoyment.
Satellite TV where mentioned will generally give only free channels. Please note that with digital satellite systems the card is programmed to the box, and therefore you will not be able to use your own satellite card. TV where mentioned will give only foreign channels. Some destinations have DVD shops which rent English DVDs.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a current passport valid for the country to which you are travelling, and that you obtain a visa, should you require one. If you do not hold a current passport, you should allow sufficient time to obtain one. Sometimes it can take a long time for your passport to be processed. Regulations covering holders of non-UK passports vary and you are advised to check with the government consulate for further details. If travelling on your honeymoon, you will need to book your holiday under the name that is stated on your passport (i.e. your maiden name, should you not have had the opportunity to get your passport changed).
It is very important that you read our Booking Terms & Conditions before finalizing your booking with us.
