This is an imposing villa just outside the pretty town of Moncarapacho in the unspoilt eastern Algarve, between Olhão and Tavira, just fifteen minutes drive from Faro airport, and 30 minutes from the Spanish border. Moncarapacho has a selection of restaurants and shopping facilities, and the nearest beach at Fuzeta is about a ten minute drive from the villa. Fuzeta is a quaint little village, with its own beach, but there is also a ferry across the lagoon (excellent for windsurfing) to Armona Island, which is a spectacular long sandy beach with dunes; very quiet even in the height of summer. The pretty port of Tavira is about a fifteen minute drive and there are now four golf courses in this area. Just a short walk from the villa is the Vila Monte Hotel and Resort. Here the facilities include a three-hole golf course with practice areas, a gymnasium, sauna, massage centre and hairdresser. There are also two restaurants; one open for dinner only and the other for lunch and breakfast. The resort welcomes outside guests and therefore our clients at Casa no Campo can enjoy a meal and a drink without the worry of transport, together with the other facilities on offer.
The accommodation at the villa is unusually laid out and is extremely flexible.
Ground floor
- Living area comprising sitting room and dining room. From here you can enjoy the view of the gardens and pool.
- The spacious modern kitchen links through to the dining area and is equipped with air-conditioning, breakfast table, American style fridge/freezer, double size oven with 5 hobs, dishwasher, microwave oven. The washing machine is in an external laundry room.
- Two bedrooms, both double rooms with en-suite facilities. PLEASE NOTE THAT BOTH BEDROOMS SHARE A COMMON ENTRANCE AND A CONNECTING DOOR. Both of these rooms have air-conditioning.
First floor
- Double room with en-suite bathroom, a dressing area and an attractive terraces area with views over the gardens and to the ocean in the distance. This room is air-conditioned and has a ceiling fan.
- Double room with en-suite, with excellent views. This room has its own access from the exterior of the villa and is air-conditioned.
The exterior of Casa no Campo comprises extensive gardens with masses of colourful flowers, shrubs and trees. There are various terraced areas, some of which are in the sun for most of the day, on the poolside area of the villa, and others where you can relax in the more shaded areas of the property. The villa is equipped with a large purpose-built integral barbecue. The swimming pool (10x5m) is a focal point of the south facing terraces and gardens, where you can enjoy the views of the surrounding hills and countryside.
