Casa da Franqueira is a 3 bedroom Premier villa located in Silves, part of the west Algarve, Portugal.
Situated in the peaceful countryside, this private property is modern and well equipped, providing all you will need to ensure you have the perfect Algarve holiday. This villa is ideal for those who wish to spend a quiet holiday away from the noise and frustrations of everyday life, but at the same time want to be within easy reach of life's amenities.
Casa Da Franqueira is set in an elevated position with stunning views out to the hills and orange groves, and to the city of Silves in the distance. There are a number of local Portuguese restaurants in the immediate vicinity for those who want to sample traditional Portuguese life. A short drive will take you to Silves, the ancient Moorish capital of the Algarve. Here you will find an excellent selection of restaurants, bars and shopping, with a sense of the region's history to be found at the castle, the cathedral and in the narrow winding streets. The nearest beaches are approximately a half hour drive.
The accommodation is all on one level and is arranged as follows:
Groud Floor
- A bright and airy modern split level lounge and dining room, with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside with 2 ceiling fans. There is a 40 inch flat screen HD TV with English Freeview channels.
- A fully fitted kitchen equipped with fridge, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave and dishwasher. A washing machine and tumble dryer are located in a separate laundry room
- A double bedroom with king size bed, en-suite shower room and access to the sun terraces - ceiling fan
- One double bedroom with ceiling fan
- One twin bedroom with ceiling fan
- A family bathroom with shower and bath
Outside
- The exterior terraces are on two levels. From the living area, you exit to a partially shaded upper terrace and barbecue area, with a wooden dining table seating up to 6 people. From here steps lead down to the attractive pool terrace. The pool is a feature of the villa, larger than normal private pools, with plenty of space for swimming.
- There are several shaded seating areas around the villa, perfect for admiring the wonderful Algarve views.
