Casa Refugio is a stunning luxurious 6 bedroom Premier Villa located amongst the exclusive Penina Estate, Alvor, as part of the western Algarve, Portugal.

Upon arrival at the property, private security gates open onto a sweeping driveway, bordered by exotic palms and cycads. Ahead you will see the impressive domed entrance.

Moving past the stone fountain, in the charming courtyard, guests are lead to the centre of the villa into the expansive drawing room. This area is cool and calm with the formal dining area and doors to the covered pool terrace.

The west wing of the villa offers a state of the art kitchen with open plan island arrangement facing the kitchen dining area. Entering the east wing guests will find all the bedrooms and bathrooms. Each bedroom has been individually styled offering picture windows or doors overlooking the grounds.

Outside the grounds are luscious and well established. There is a 12m x 6m pool with the separate pool house offering a bar, sitting area, snooker table and shower room.

The amazing outdoor BBQ area (by the pool house) has two separate cooking sections with a traditional bread oven and sink.

The villa is situated in the grounds of the famous Penina championship golf course along the 15th green. The Le Meridien Hotel, Penina Golf Club and tennis courts are only a very short distance away from the villa. The Hotel has bars, restaurants, hairdresser and all the usual Hotel amenities. The nearest fine sandy beaches, Alvor and Tres Irmaos, are about 10 minutes drive to the East, and those of Lagos and Meia Praia about 15 minutes to the West. There is an enormous selection of restaurants within a 10 kilometre radius. Riding, lawn bowls and squash are also nearby. The busy city of Portimao, where you can enjoy the shopping facilities and restaurants is also only a five-minute drive from the villa.
