Casa Da Franqueira is a modern villa situated in the countryside a short drive from Silves - the ancient Moorish capital of the Algarve. Here you will find an excellent selection of restaurants, bars and shopping, with a sense of the region's history to be found at the castle, the cathedral and in the narrow winding streets. This villa is ideal for those who wish to spend a quiet holiday away from the noise and frustrations of everyday life, but at the same time be within easy reach of life's amenities. The nearest beaches are approximately a half hour drive. Casa Da Franqueira is set in an elevated position with stunning views out to the hills and orange groves, and to the city of Silves in the distance. The villa is completely private and is surrounded by peaceful countryside. There are a number of local Portuguese restaurants in the immediate vicinity for those who want to sample traditional Portuguese life.
The accommodation is on one level as follows
- A bright and airy modern split level lounge and dining room, with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside
- A fully fitted kitchen equipped with fridge, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave and dishwasher. A washing machine and tumble dryer are located in a separate laundry room
- A double bedroom with en-suite shower room and access to the sun terraces
- Two twin bedrooms sharing a full bathroom
Outside
- The exterior terraces are on two levels. From the living area, you exit to a partially shaded upper terrace and barbecue area. From here steps lead down to the attractive pool terrace. The pool is a feature of the villa, larger than normal private pools, with plenty of space for swimming
All prices are per week for the villa only. Villas are booked from 2:30pm on your arrival day (Thursday) to 10:00am on your departure day (the following Thursday). Please note that availability shown is subject to confirmation - please call our reservations team.
