Casa Azul is a magnificent newly built villa in the heart of the Vila Sol golf and leisure resort just a twenty-minute drive from Faro airport. The villa is surrounded by landscaped gardens and enjoys views out over the golf course. Guests at the villa will have access to the superb 27 hole (3x9) golf course, which has hosted the Portuguese Open on a number of occasions, as well as the tennis courts and a Health Spa offering a choice of therapeutic programmes. In the new Vila Sol five star hotel clients can use the hotel bars and restaurants. Additionally, the new retail area at Vila Sol is now open, and includes a supermarket, restaurants, an English style pub, and other shopping. The famous Vilamoura resort is only a five-minute drive from Casa Azul and offers a choice of five golf courses plus all the amenities, bars and restaurants available at the Vilamoura Marina complex. The beaches at Vilamoura are about a 10-minute drive and slightly further afield (between Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago) is the Vila Sol Beach Club at Praia do Ancao, a long stretch of soft golden sand. The beachfront restaurant serves an enticing selection of freshly caught local seafood and other local specialities, with excellent wines. The beach has gained an EU Blue Flag and guests can take full advantage of some exiting water sports facilities.
The accommodation at Casa Azul is arranged on three levels
Ground floor
- Main living area of the villa, a spacious and professionally designed and furnished sitting room, with French doors to the poolside terraces and gardens
- A separate dining room, again with poolside access
- Magnificent kitchen equipped with breakfast table, Aga style double oven, with four ring hob plus hotplate and griddle, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, and a laundry area with washing machine and dryer
- Three bedrooms all with en-suite facilities, one opens to the poolside, and has a combined television and DVD
- One of the rooms is a double, there is one twin room, and the last ground floor bedroom has a double and a single bed
First floor
- Two double bedrooms, including the master suite both with en-suite bathrooms, and spacious terraces which overlook the magnificent swimming pool and gardens
- Small office space with PC and printer
Basement level
- Private Gymnasium, complete with music system and television and WII games consol (please note that children under 16 must be accompanied on the machinery by an adult), plus a games area with table tennis table, table football and air hockey
Outside
- Absolutely delightful garden, well stocked with flowers and shrubs
- The centrepiece is the 11-metre swimming pool and hot tub
- Sun loungers, parasols and garden furniture are all provided. There is also a trampoline with side netting.
- Choice of two traditional charcoal barbecues, or a new gas barbecue, ideal for preparing those long leisurely lunches by the pool
- Please note that the villa can accommodate up to 12 guests as there are two divan beds provided. This would be ideal for children for instance in a larger group
All prices are per week for the villa only. Villas are booked from 2:30pm on your arrival day (Saturday) to 10:00am on your departure day (the following Saturday). Please note that availability shown is subject to confirmation - please call our reservations team.
